Why choose Meadow View Natives?

As a retired Agriculture teacher, I focus on the educational aspects of gardening/landscaping... right plant, right place, right practice...

Most of the plants were germinated, right here in my little native plant nursery.  I know the source of my seed, the potting soil and the care they have received along the way.

I don't use any pesticides or other chemicals in their production.

Seeds are germinated by cold stratification in mini-greenhouses aka. gallon milk jugs and I would be excited to show you how to make your own and germinate your own seeds.

My seeds are sourced through Prairie Moon, a reputable native seed source, Pinelands Nursery, and seed that I collect from my own collection of native plants.  My plants are "straight native", meaning that they have not been intentionally crossed or bred with other plants for specific flower, leaf, etc. traits.

I have many of these plants growing on my property and can show you their growth habit.

I also grow these plants in large container plantings and have overwintered them for at least 3 years.
